I majored in art at Olney High School in Philadelphia. After graduation I completed a two year course in commercial art at Dobbins Tech, then I worked in Publishing as a book designer.
At age twenty-four I moved to New York City to attend the School of Visual Arts. After receiving my BFA, I worked as a freelance artist for several years before becoming a teacher for twenty years.
Now is the most creative time of my life. I love working in contrasting mediums: watercolors, acrylics, collages, photography, digital art, and more.
